Gorgeous wild ocelot in the Amazon rainforest This was one of the most memorable moments from our recent trip to the Peruvian Amazon. The whole expedition crew was heading back to the basecamp in in our longboat, and just before sunset, Paul spotted this wild ocelot pacing along the riverbank. In this moment, she emerged from the trees and stared right at us - moving slowly, assessing whether or not we were a threat to her.
