This Apple Rosemary Granita is the perfect palate cleanser after a heavy Thanksgiving meal. Add a splash of Brandy or Buorbon and you got the perfect ending! Enjoy!

Ingredients
2 large apples peeled and diced
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice
2 tbsp honey
1 sprig of fresh rosemary
Splash of calvados, brandy or bourbon (optional)
Instructions
In a small pot combine all ingredients except the apples.
Bring it to a simmer over low heat until sugar dissolves.
Discard the rosemary. Let the syrup cool for 10 minutes.
In a blender add the apples and the syrup. Blend until smooth.
Transfer the mixture into a container and freeze until serving.
Add a splash of brandy or bourbon before serving if you prefer.
