GoPro Athlete + legend of the mountain biking world, Sam Pilgrim, made a journey to New Hampshire to meet up with pro rider Samantha Soriano. Together, the two set out to put HERO13 Black the the HB-Series Ultra Wide Lens Mod to the test at Highland Mountain Bike Park. The two downhill MTB riders spent the day slashing berms, sending flips, seshing jumps, and bantering the entire time.
As a professional riders + full time filmers, Pilgs + Sam rely heavily on their GoPros to capture everything that happens in front of them. With the Ultra Wide Lens Mod for HERO13 Black, they're able to unlock the widest field of view possible on a GoPro—a mind-boggling 177°. The immersive lens is crucial for mountain biking content because it enables them capture the handlebars, trail, + the sky the same way their eyes see it. Not only that, but its the only lens that lets them shoot just one shot for all the different aspect ratio needs in the new 1:1 mode.
