Thank you to all the hardworking team at DisastersEmergencyCommittee (DEC) who work tirelessly to support humanitarian causes around the world. 🙏 Earlier today at St Peter’s Church, The King met staff, aid workers and volunteers, who have supported the Middle East and Ukraine humanitarian appeals. Pooling resources to work as one organisation, the DEC is pivotal in co-ordinating the UK public’s response to overseas disasters. In collaboration with their Rapid Response Network of national media and corporate partners, the DEC raises the alarm to the UK public and sets up easy ways to donate. Over the last 60 years, DEC has responded to earthquakes and tsunamis, hunger and drought, the impacts of conflict and climate change, reaching millions of people in humanitarian need across more than 60 countries. #Humanitarian #MiddleEast #Ukraine
