What a great learning (and fun) experience this weekend shooting my first XC meet. Covered in mud, soaked to my underwear, and of course cold (ok, not so fun) but riding in the back of the cart, watching my DAWGS WIN, and getting some great shots along the way - awesome. It was difficult at times... But this is what I want to do, so I'm going to go after it. Shoutout to all of my friends (old and new) who came thru to help this broke photographer by offering me a place to sleep and food to eat, you guys the real MVP!
