According to reports, #EpicGames is refunding $72 million to Fortnite players and customers who were misled into making unwanted purchases through deceptive billing practices. The refunds are part of a $245 million settlement with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), announced in December 2022, marking the largest refund ever in a gaming case. Over 629,000 payments are being issued via PayPal and checks, with more disbursements to follow.
