Gingerbread Cookie Protein Bars š«šŖ
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1/3 cup cashew butter (or almond butter)
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp date syrup or honey
2ā3 tbsp almond milk (as needed)
1/3 cup white chocolate chips, melted (Hu)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix almond flour, protein powder, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, and salt.
2. Add peanut butter, maple syrup, and date syrup (or honey). Stir until a dough forms. Add almond milk one tablespoon at a time if the mixture is too dry.
3. Press the dough evenly into a lined bread loaf pan. Put in freezer to firm up for 20 minutes.
4. Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
5. Pour the melted white chocolate over the dough, spreading it evenly.
6. Chill the bars in the fridge for at least 1 hour, or until the white chocolate is firm....
