Ally Pally has a new American hero 🇺🇸 World No. 130 Leonard Gates danced his way into the second round of the World Darts Championship on Sunday, stunning No. 39 Scotsman Cameron Menzies 3-1. The Texas, native took control with a commanding first set that saw him take out 138, 120 and 85. Menzies, who was visibly emotional towards the end of the game, tied things up at 1-1 but Gates held him off to win the next two sets and set up a meeting with World No. 12 Nathan Aspinall.
