#AlumniAchievement: Attorney Justin Miller '99 (jmilleresq) has received the 2024 A.T. Walden Outstanding Lawyer Award from the Gate City Bar Association.⁠ ⁠ Miller is a partner at Stewart Miller Simmons Trial Attorneys and has litigated and won several jury trials, receiving millions of dollars for his clients throughout Georgia. Miller was also counsel for the family of George Floyd and was instrumental in helping the Floyd legal team secure a record 27 million dollar settlement against the city of Minneapolis and the officers responsible.⁠ ⁠ Austin Thomas (A.T) Walden, after whom the award is named, was an American lawyer and civil rights leader.
