I don't always have the best way with words and do a lot of my talking through video so I felt like I had to make this today. Coach Amir was one of the first people I met at Kennesaw five years ago when I started as a student manager on his staff. For the next four years I grew closer to him and to the family we built in that locker room. A lot of my favorite memories in life are due in part to him and what he did for Kennesaw Basketball as well as what he did to inspire me to do what I felt passionate about. Coach used to love Nipsey Hussle's quote 'The Marathon Continues' and would always mention it in his pre practice notes during our worst season as a way of reminding all of us that life goes on so I figured now was a good time to use it. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to document the year he led us to an ASUN championship and I wanted to share some of those moments here. He is someone that I will deeply miss.
