Thousands of Des Moines Public Schools' students will have additional options for connecting to the internet now that the district's bus fleet has Wi-Fi. Offering internet access on buses is part of desmoinespublicschools On The Go program and is meant to ensure students have the tools they need to learn, according to a district news release. Officials announced their intention to bring district buses online in August 2024 ahead of the new school year.
