Join us in welcoming our new director of rugby! John Gulden has been involved in the rugby community as a player, coach, and administrator‬ ‭ for over 15 years. Currently, he serves as the Forward’s Rugby Coach at Pittsburgh Central‬ ‭ Catholic High School. This past summer Gulden served as the Head Coach for the U19‬ Harlequins Select Side. Gulden started his rugby career at Lock Haven University where he‬ played for four years and coached for two; in that time he served as Match Secretary, Team‬ Captain and Head Coach for both the Women’s and Men’s Clubs respectively.‬ Prior to moving to Pittsburgh, Gulden was heavily involved in the rugby community as a coach‬ ‭ and administrator at the collegiate level. Most recently he served as a Head Coach for six years‬ at Marywood University and Adrian College.
