M Club Hall of Fame Welcomes Distinguished Memphis Tigers Alumni
The University of Memphis has announced its latest inductees into the prestigious M Club Hall of Fame, honoring former Tigers who have excelled both in their sports and beyond.
This year’s inductees include:
• Chris Douglas-Roberts (Men’s Basketball): A key player from 2006-08, Douglas-Roberts led the Tigers to the national title game in 2008, earning consensus first-team All-American honors. He averaged 18.1 points per game during his final season before being drafted into the NBA.
• Reggie Howard (Football): A standout cornerback who went on to intercept Tom Brady in the 2004 Super Bowl. Now an assistant coach at Memphis, Howard’s legacy continues to inspire.
• Altrese Hawkins (Volleyball): The program’s all-time leader in kills (over 1,800), Hawkins was a three-time Conference USA first-team selection from 2008-12.
