Apple flambé! Basically banana foster but with apples. Dessert in 10 minutes perfect for casual cravings or last minute dessert. 2 Apples 3 tbsp Butter 3 tbsp Sugar Pinch of Cinnamon 2 oz or more Brandy or bourbon Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sugar and let it melt until it turns a light amber color (about 2 minutes). Be careful not to burn it. Add the butter to the caramelized sugar and stir until smooth. Add the apple slices and toss to coat them in the caramel. Cook for 3–5 minutes until the apples are slightly softened. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over the apples. Pour the brandy or bourbon into the skillet. Carefully ignite the alcohol with a long lighter or match. Let the flames burn out naturally.
