At 16 years old, high schooler Quincy Wilson made history as the youngest male U.S. track Olympian in history. Winning the gold medal in the 4x400 relay, Wilson set the running world on fire by beating the best of the best professional athletes all over the world.
Wilson wants to prove that he’s more than just his athletic talents, and that his love of learning and knowledge is just as important to him too.
Still a junior at Bullis High School in Washington D.C., he has almost two years of coursework and exams ahead of him before graduating and attending one of the many colleges vying for his talents or turning pro ahead of the L.A. 2028 Olympic Games.
“He sets a really good example for all of our students that you can absolutely excel at multiple things. And if you didn’t know, you would have no idea that he is a gold medal athlete," Taryn Kittel, Wilson's teacher says.
