In this original BlacktipH film, I join Guy Harvey on an epic scientific adventure fishing for giant Black Marlin in Panama at Tropic Star Lodge. Black Marlin are one of the most challenging fish to catch! Tropic Star is in a very remote location in the Jungles of Panama. We had to take a plane, a bus ride, and finally, a boat ride to reach the lodge. Once we got to Tropic Star Lodge, we rested and prepared for the following day. The next day, Guy Harvey, Martin (Guy's friend), and our crew headed offshore to search for black marlin. After filling our tuna tubes, we started trolling for marlin. It didn't take long to get our first bite, and it was a big sailfish! Later in the day, Guy spotted a whale shark swimming on the surface. I got to jump in the water and swim with the massive 30ft animal! We finished the day off tagging and releasing several Dorado (mahi-mahi or dolphinfish).
