He who is the great protector, the solid ground, the good father. In him there is no fear, we need not fear the terror of night. Nothing can tear us away from his love and salvation. We can truly depend on the LORD to sustain and protect us. Even as tough or terrible life is here on this broken earth, without God it would be so much more worse. The Lord is the source of all joy, life, happiness, love, and all blessings. He is faithful to stay with us when we turn aside. However, it is important that we continually choose to remain under his wings, to take advantage of his shield.
