Italian Sausage, Onions, Peppers and Mozz….great cold weather meal. Have a great week. Recipe -1lb Italian Sausage of choice, 4 links -2 Med White Onions -1 Bell Pepper -1 Red Bell Pepper -S&P to taste -Olive Oil -Few dashes of Worcestershire -1/2 C Red Wine -14.5oz Can Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes, or just use 2 Cups of Marinara if you have it -1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes -8oz Mozzarella **Dutch Oven Med Heat….add Olive Oil, Onions, Peppers. Season w S&P and let cook for about 15 min **At same time brown your Italian Sausage links in skillet on all sides for 6-8 min. Remove from heat and slice at angle, back to skillet to brown a bit more **Add sausage to Onions and Peppers **Hit Sausage pan w red wine to deglaze for a couple minutes and pour that into Dutch Oven **Add Tomatoes, Red Wine, Worcestershire, Red Pepper Flakes. Add S&P to your liking **Cover and let simmer for 8-10 min **Add Mozz over the top. Fresh sliced is best but I only had shredded **In the oven at 450 until you like...
