Brittany Shyne won "The U.S. Grand Jury Prize: Documentary" for her film "Seedsthedoc," an exploration of Black generational farmers in the American South. Her work depicted the fragility of legacy and the significance of owning land for the families she followed. "Seeds" also won the "#Sundance Institute | Amazon MGM Studios Producers Award for Nonfiction."
