#fosterFriday In early December, three kittens were surrendered into our care, one of whom was too small to be spayed. This kitten, named Lint, was placed with a foster parent who quickly noticed that she wasn't feeling well. Soon after, she tested positive for a highly contagious virus, Feline Panleukopenia (FPV). Her two siblings, Dust Bunny, and Dryer Sheet, tested positive in the following days, and all three kitties were quarantined until they recovered. Thanks to the incredible work of our clinic team, the trio started to improve, and they were placed with a new foster who had experience in fostering FPV kittens. As they waited out the remainder of their quarantine, our clinic and foster treated them for severe URI's and ulcerated noses, which developed in addition to FPV. Now, over two months later, these kittens are happy, healthy and have been spayed and neutered.
