Consistency is key when it comes to dog training! If your trainer gives you “homework,” it’s not just busy work—it’s a crucial part of your dog’s learning journey. Working with Tux outside of our scheduled training sessions has allowed us to build a stronger bond and I’ve learned to read some of his body language a little better. Today’s training session didn’t go as well as I liked. Tux was very whiny today. He became antsy when it came to walking on leash. At the time, it was quite frustrating and we mainly focused on settling because of it. When we got home, I realized he was whiny because he was a little backed up. 💩. Once he relieved himself 2-3 different times 🫣, he was back to normal.
