UPDATE/MISE À JOUR : SailGP 📍Sydney, AUS February 7-8 février After finishing the first day of this weekend’s SailGP competition in Sydney, AUS, in 7th place overall, the Canadian team had a tremendous second day, finishing 2nd twice and 4th, and qualifying for the final race for the top three teams. The three-boat Final included lead changes throughout and saw Emirates GBR fight off tough competition from NorthStar Canada and the Australian team to cross the line with a six second lead over the Canadians in second place. The Final was packed with drama from the start, with Australia pushing NorthStar Canada wide to fall off the foils in an attempt to dominate the start. Canada is now in 6th place overall in the 2025 season championship standings.
