On Wednesday, USA Today announced its second-annual list of “Restaurants of the Year,” a roundup of 44 places, old and new, selected by “reporters from across the country.”
And after getting blanked in the inaugural list, two Oregon restaurants made the cut in 2025.
First up alphabetically is Portland’s Akadi, a West African restaurants that has lived on local guides to Portland’s best restaurants since opening in 2017 (minus a pandemic-time hiatus and relocation).
