An eventful close to the season for CHS Squash continues this weekend as a contingent of Crusaders departed 1180 Delaware Ave. on Thursday afternoon to compete in the national championships in Philadelphia. Canisius will take part in the U.S. High School Team Championships hosted by ussquash in the Arlen Specter Center and other sites in Philadelphia. Heading to nationals are: Michael Burke ’26, Michael Cassety ’27, Coach Steve Joyce (top row of fourth photo); Eric Kraus ’25, David Romanowich ’25 (middle); Tommy Sheehan ’25, Hasan Siddiqui ’26, Cole Hoffman ’27, Max Bruce ’26. Last week the large Crusaders roster celebrated Senior Night following a match against Nichols. In their previous match, CHS defeated St. Joe’s, 10-8.
