Deputies with the Special Assignment Team were flagged down by a store manager after a man stole items without paying. Deputies located and detained the suspect. A witness positively identified the suspect and he was taken into custody without incident. Further investigation revealed he had committed multiple thefts. Both he and his bicycle were taken to jail, where he was booked and released on a citation to appear in court.
