Over 73,000 square feet of glass at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, home of the Cleveland Cavaliers, is safe for birds, thanks to a marvel of innovation called birddivert! Bird Divert UV markers rely on birds’ ability to see UV light and alert them to the presence of glass as a solid object to avoid, doing all this without altering the arena’s aesthetic. Scientifically tested and approved by the americanbirdconservancy , Bird Divert was strongly recommended for this project by the Western Cuyahoga chapter of audubonsociety. The installation, completed in fall of 2024, is a huge conservation win and a testament to Feather Friendly’s commitment to offer only the very best bird collision mitigation solutions.
