According to reports, #McDonald’s is no longer the world’s largest restaurant chain. As of September 2024, Chinese chain Mixue Bingcheng, with over 45,000 locations, surpasses McDonald’s, which has around 41,800. Known for affordable ice cream and drinks, 90% of Mixue’s outlets are in China, with others in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Founded in 1997, it originally sold shaved ice and cold drinks.
