Welcome back to Saturday Stadium Series, presented by LoveLVTravel1! 🏟️🏈 Let’s head up north for today’s edition as we check out a 65-year old venue in the “Magic City” with modern amenities and charm: First Western Bank Field at Herb Parker Stadium 🌿🌄 Herb Parker Stadium was constructed in 1960. The original design featured bleacher seating for 3,500 and a natural grass playing surface. The first renovation came in 1973 with the installation of a proper press box, restrooms, and concessions. The facility, dedicated after Beavers legend Herbert M. Parker, was used for 37 years before its next wave of upgrades were approved. Minot State installed its first FieldTurf surface in 2010 and replaced its old bleachers with new chairback seating. The stadium’s capacity increased from 3,500 to 4,000 with the new seating.
