HONEYCOMB PASTA CAKE🍝🎂
One of my first VIRAL Instagram recipes, the Honeycomb Rigatoni Pasta Cake. This time around, I added fresh mozzarella ciliegine! This one of my fave dishes to make.
🧀Ingredients:
•1 box uncooked rigatoni pasta
•1 tablespoon unsalted butter
•3 cups Bolognese sauce
•4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
•2 cups fresh mozzarella
Preheat oven to 380°F. Cook pasta al dente and strain. Grease a 9’ spring pan with butter and laddle some bolognese sauce. Stand rigatoni noodles on end, one next to each other, until pan is filled. Top with some shredded mozzarella and top each rigatoni noodle with a small piece of fresh mozzarella. Add remaking sauce on top and sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top to fill holes and gaps in an even layer. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake 20 minutes. Remove foil and cook another 10 minutes. Enjoy!
