What caused me to walk like this? 🤔
I’ll likely never get an answer, but that’s okay! I never go down the rabbit-hole of all the what ifs, or dwell on why it happened. Having cerebral palsy made me into the person I am today and I wouldn’t change a thing even if I could.
CP happens when there’s damage to the developing brain, often before or during birth. It can be due to lack of oxygen, infections, premature birth, or other factors. But no two cases are the same!
If you have CP or know someone with CP, do you know what caused it? When were you diagnosed? Let me know in the comments!
And a huge thank you to my friends at yourcpf for all they do to move research forward! 👏🏼
How are you liking the new series?!
