On March 24, the Treasure Valley (in Idaho) has been invited to come together to send a message that EVERYONE IS WELCOME in our schools. If you’re not up-to-date to what’s been going on in the area, head to my last post and read about it. Simply put, a West Ada school teacher was asked to remove two signs from her classroom with messages of inclusion and equality. One with the message that all colors and races are welcome. And the other that all students are important, accepted, valued and equal. The school district asked her to take the signs down. She did not feel that was ok. And a huge portion of the community agrees. See last post for more details. Local christopher_stewart_realtor had the idea to create a shirt that represents this message, based on one of the signs in question.
