From Dream to Reality: Presenting at CHOP Ever since grad school, I dreamed of working with or presenting at the prestigious Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). I always thought it would be for research, but life had an even more meaningful path in store—sharing my journey from patient to professional and now DHH advocate. I’m incredibly honored to have had this opportunity and so grateful to Melissa Gaines for the invitation! It was amazing to spend time with Hilary Davis and to meet the incredible Dr. Mike Hoffman. The speaker lineup was superb, and every moment of my whirlwind 30-hour trip across the country was worth it. I’ve been speaking at so many more conferences and companies in the last year.
