A Brazilian café that opened in 2023 decided to close after nearly two years of casual fare. The owners of Terra Café at 2800 University Ave., Suite 400, West Des Moines, closed the restaurant permanently on Sunday. “Today is a sad day for us,” said a message on Facebook. Some items from the Terra Café menu will join Brazil Terra Grill, the Brazilian steakhouse next door. The Brazilian steakhouse with all-you-can-eat meat carved at the table opened in 2018.
