STARK, PACKARD EARN SPOTLIGHT DISTINCTION: Senior Luke Stark of the jserra.swimmingdiving team and senior Anne Elise Packard of the jserra.tfxc Cross Country and Track and Field teams have been honored by the CIF Southern Section this week, as both were named JSerra Catholic High School’s Student Athletes of the Year. Each member school of the CIF-SS is eligible to recognize a male and female student-athlete to be honored. Stark and Packard join 374 other student-athletes from schools in the CIF-SS who were spotlighted for obtaining a minimum GPA of 3.5 over the previous three years, lettering in at least one varsity sport, and participating in extracurricular school activities. Both Stark and Packard were recognized for GPA’s of 4.0. Stark is part of Mu Alpha Theta, the California Scholarship Federation, the National Honors Society, and the Stop Drowning Club.
