Just hatched! 🐣 The beloved 14-foot-tall blue rooster sculpture (“Hahn/Cock”) perched on our East Building roof now has a tiny chick that lives at the Botanic Garden—and it’s made from materials you wouldn’t expect. 👀   To create this miniature version, our exhibition designer Brian Sentman foraged plants from his garden in Piscataway Park over the course of two weeks, gathering Blue Eucalyptus, Paulownia seed pods, and Hedgenettle. In his basement, he formed together each of these natural materials and carved them into a miniature marvel.    “I’ve never made anything from plants before,” Brian says. “I absolutely did not know what I was doing from the start.
