Strength Cycle 🔁
During my rehab for my shoulder, I have agreed with the Athlete Performance center that this was also a good building back a solid strength foundation. It’s now been around 2 months with 3-4 strength sessions a week - I was quite afraid of how it would affect my running, but luckly it has only improved it 🔥 So don’t be afraid to put in solid strength work around your running, as long as you combine it smart 🤓💪
Now its just continuing to build on a strong fundament, so I hopefully will have a good fall season or racing again 🤝🙌
Here are some of my favorite exercises at the moment:
▪️Heavy step-ups
▪️Heavy hip-thrusters
▪️Explosive pull-ups
▪️Cable crunches
▪️Weighted GHD side plank
