This is satellite imagery take a not far from where the 21 Israeli soldiers were killed in a massive explosion yesterday. The troops were working to demolish Palestinian buildings/homes/fields for what would be a future buffer zone between Israel and Gaza. It shows an area near Kissufim road, on the Gaza side of the Israel-Gaza border. The top image is a before image. The bottom image is more recent. The satellite imagery appears to show catastrophic damage to the homes and buildings in this area, a destruction at a rate higher apparently than other areas in Gaza. #gaza #israel #demolition #idf #palestinians
