”Pumpkin Potion” this is a pumpkin spice sauce perfect for all my autumnal fairies out there! 🎃🧚🏻✨It can be used to make pumpkin spice lattes (simply add to coffee with cream), drizzled over ice cream, added to hot cocoa or your favorite spirit, used to moisten cakes, drizzle over a biscuit, and over pancakes/waffles. This is an extremely versatile fall fridge staple and makes a great gift. It’s vegan and gluten free. It will keep three weeks in the fridge and can be frozen, too!
Recipe:
1 cup pumpkin puree fresh or canned
2 cups sugar
3 tbs sorghum (or Molasses)
3 3/4 cups water
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
3/4 teaspoon cloves
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Add all the ingredients to a heavy bottom sauce pan. Cook over medium heat until top all the sugar has melted and has thickened slightly. This will take 15-20 minutes. Remove the from heat and allow to cool before putting into jars!
