What’s more comforting than Mac and cabotcheese during the holiday season!? I made my moms famous recipe and am happy to share it with all of you❤️ Ingredients: • 2 1/2 - 3 cups cabotcheese sharp cheddar •1 pound macaroni (1 box) •1/3 cup salted Cabot butter •1/3 cup flour •1 1/2 cup milk •salt and pepper •1 sleeve of ritz crackers Directions 1) boil and drain the pasta and set aside 2) grate the cheese 3) melt the butter in a medium size pot. Add the flour and whisk until blended. 4) while keeping the temperature hot, slowly add the milk to the pot as you whisk vigorously until the mixture thickens. (at this point you may need to adjust the rue with more flour or milk) 5) Then add the grated cheese and continue to stir until it melts into a nice cheese sauce. 6) add the cooked pasta and stir 7) Transfer to a 9x13 glass pan and top with crushed ritz crackers 8) bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes … enjoy #cabotcheese #cabotcheddar
