It’s almost my birthday and y’all know how I like to buy money for my present. Last year I bought a vending machine route and wanted to talk a little about the reason why. My trusty Subaru (rip Sebastian) broke down in December 2022. Now my business REQUIRES that I drive long distances to service my properties so it wasn’t really a question on if I should get a vehicle. The question was more how do I pay for it. It’s a business car (important for tax purposes) but also a depreciating vehicle. So I didn’t want to just pay cash. I want a stream of income for every debt I take on so that’s why I bought these machines instead. Instead of paying cash for my car, I financed it and challeneged myself to make enough money from the vending machines to make the payment instead. Not only have they COMPLETELY covered the payment, it cost me over 50% less buying the car outright.
