Pide 🇹🇷 Turkish flatbread - actually one of the tastiest breads I’ve tried INGREDIENTS: • 200 ml whole milk • 120g all purpose flour • 10g dried yeast • 4g sugar • 415g flour • 245ml water • 40g olive oil • 1 tsp salt • 1 egg yolk • 1 tbsp water • 1 tbsp yogurt • white sesame seeds • black sesame seeds DIRECTIONS: 1) Heat milk for 45 seconds to 78- 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Add 4g of sugar to warm milk, then 10g of dried yeast. Whisk until yeast has completely dissolved into milk. 2) Add 120g of all purpose flour and whisk until it is a smooth batter. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rest in a warm space for 25-30 minutes. 3) When the batter has doubled in size and there are bubbles formed, add 245ml of water, 40g of olive oil, and 415g of flour. Mix until well combined. The dough does not need to be kneaded and the dough will still be sticky.
