Gear does 100% matter as a sports photographer, especially indoors. Now don’t take this the wrong way, I understand that the highest quality lenses and body’s are insanely expensive, and I don’t have the top gear myself, but I have some pretty nice stuff. You can create good photos with older, and cheaper gear, but quality will lack, and it’s very easy to miss the moment due to slower FPS and autofocus systems. I do also believe that if you hand someone that has bad gear the newest and nicest gear, they would get some good photos. The creativity of the photos is a different topic, but most people can get some good action shots with something like a Canon r1, Nikon z9, or a Sony a1. #hottake #photography #fyp #foryourpage #editing #hate
