HiP-CT is an X-ray technique that allows scientists to see incredible detail in soft tissue without needing to dissect it. High-resolution 3D imaging like this can help researchers uncover more information about the structures of organs, right down to the cellular level. This will help them see what goes wrong when organs are diseased, so they can develop new treatments.
