Our UC San Diego community, comprising students, staff, faculty, and alumni proudly honored Martin Luther King, Jr. this past weekend. 💙 We continued our tradition, Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, which was established in 2002. This year, we had the opportunity to work with a local partner school, John Muir Language Academy, for a day of community building and connection to honor his life and legacy. On Sunday, we marched in San Diego’s 43rd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade alongside ucsdpepband, ucsd.tritonettes, the Eight Colleges, and many other members of the campus community.
