Every once in a while you look at a picture that makes you feel a certain way. Sometimes it makes you feel happiness and joy and sometimes it makes you feel pain and sorrow. smaloneymedia sent me this picture a few months ago and it made me feel a little bit of everything. Here is a picture that to me, sums up my collegiate career. A national championship trophy just within reach, yet so far away. Hand in my face and fighting back tears wondering why I wasn't able to take it. Ultimately, the heartbreak of this sport never leaves you, but that's okay. It can be used to discover one's true self and to set new goals to be chased. So, while you look back at failures in your life, understand that two things can be true at the same time. You can be disappointed with the outcome AND still be proud of your effort. You just have to learn to use your shortcomings to grow and get better. Time to train. I have to compete again soon. #B2W
