Need to teach map skills? Why not pre-make tabs for students to use when labeling a map? This makes the activity more hands-on and provides an alternative for students who have challenges with handwritten activities or spelling. For these students having an opportunity to create without writing it themselves will decrease cognitive load and allow them to focus on the most important thing they’re learning— maps! For a student who may need a sturdier surface, you can even put the map on thicker paper, like card stock, or a poster board to make it easier to interact with. Also, don’t forget to gather your DIY AT this week and send us pictures to be eligible for our GIVEAWAYS 🎁🎁🎁🎁 All you have to do is: ⭐️Post pictures of your DIY/low cost AT ⭐️Follow us on Instagram or Facebook ⭐️Tag us in your post and ⭐️Add #LovinAT to your post! #assistivetechnology #assistivetech #LovinAT #socialstudies #history #geography #diy #makersgonnamake
