What’s Up? 🎼 If you wake up in the morning and step outside, and take a deep breath and look real high—there’s no need to scream from the top of your lungs: here’s what’s going on. Throughout January, a newly discovered comet may be seen gliding across the sky towards the northwest in the Northern Hemisphere, with visibility in the Southern Hemisphere beginning in February. January brings ample opportunity to gaze upon the bright constellations of winter: looking towards the south or southeast after dark you’ll spy the Orion, Canis Major, Canis Minor, Taurus, and Gemini constellations shining in the night sky. After the sun sets, skygazers will also be treated to the sights of Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn all month long. Plus, expect the full "Wolf" Moon on Jan. 6.
