DeLand’s the kind of place where you walk into the doughnut shop and the owner already knows your name—he’s pouring your usual black coffee and grabbing your go-to doughnut before you even say a word. It’s where the local sushi spot serves up double the roll, just because... and it’s pretty dang good. Where the Publix still has that old-school green scale by the entrance. And where locals talk about how their grandparents used to walk the dirt roads just off Main Street.
