📝 Here is a project KITA has been working on this summer! 👀 The Kentucky Interpreter and Translator Association is soliciting information across the state of Kentucky, divided up by the eight areas, shown in this map. 🗺️ We would like to map where languages are spoken/signed (need for language access) and where the interpreters are (meeting this need). This information will tell us several things, such as: - What are the active and current languages in a certain area for whom language access (interpreting and translation) is needed? - Where are the interpreters across the state? - Are the interpreters qualified through testing and training? KITA wishes to thank our University of Kentucky summer interns, Jordan Roark and Elena Liu, without whom this project would not have been possible.
