Baylor clinched a spot in the Big 12 Football Championship game in Arlington and won another conference title on Saturday, Dec. 4, and I ran my first marathon in San Antonio on that Sunday, Dec. 5.

The travel didn’t have me at my best nutrition wise nor did it leave me which much room to enjoy the pre-race festivities, but once I hit that course, it was all mental.
I crossed the finish line and reached a new level of respect for myself. ⚡️
Will I do another one? Maybe one day.
But nothing will compare to the story of my first one. 🤟🏼
